At Waterloo, we're committed to helping you make sure that lack of money doesn't get in the way of your success.
For complete details, visit the Student Awards and Financial Aid website.
See below for additional financial aid resources at the University of Waterloo.
*Note: The University determines unmet need by using OSAP allowable costs minus the student's expected resources. Where other provincial jurisdictions include institutional bursaries as a resource, the University is not in a position to provide further bursary assistance to replace/repay loan overpayments.
If you're an Ontario resident (as defined by OSAP), OSAP provides government loans and bursaries to help you finance your education.
If you're not an Ontario resident, visit the Student Awards and Financial Aid website for links to other Canadian and U.S. loan programs.
Entrance bursary information and application.
In addition to Waterloo's Entrance Bursary for first-year students, you may be eligible to receive one of the following Waterloo bursaries. You must apply for OSAP. In some cases an application form is also required.
The Ontario Work-Study Plan is designed to provide on-campus work experience for full-time students who require assistance in covering their education-related costs.
Visit the Student Awards & Financial Aid website for more details about the program and to learn how to apply for these jobs.
