Your parents spent much of your childhood cleaning crayon marks off the walls. You never leave home without your sketch pad, and you've always been told you have a great eye for colour. Fine Arts may be for you!
In Fine Arts, you'll develop an understanding of art through painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, computer imaging, art history, and film studies. Choose Art History and Visual Culture, Film Studies and Visual Culture, or Studio Practice as your major.
If you're interested in gaining paid work experience through co-op, apply to Arts and Business Co-op and choose Fine Arts as your major at the end of first year.
Inspire future artists by earning your degree from Waterloo and then a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University and becoming a teacher! Choose the Fine Arts Teaching Preparation Specialization at the end of first year.
