Discover our world and the people, places, and cultures that make it such a diverse place. Learn about climate change, landforms, natural hazards, global population growth, geographic information systems, and more!
As one of the largest geography programs in Canada, we offer many specialized courses and facilities in addition to the most co-op experience of any geography program in Canada.
And you don't have to wait until second year to choose Geography as your major. You're a Geography and Environmental Management student from day one, giving you plenty of time to explore your interests.
Through hands-on courses, field trips, and optional exchanges to countries such as Australia, England, Mexico, and the United States, you won't just sit in a classroom. You can also use co-op work terms to learn about careers in geography while earning money and discovering the world.
You'll earn a Bachelor of Environmental Studies - a well-respected degree that will set you apart. Benefit from the variety of topics with the program and from the valuable skills you'll develop in our geomorphology lab, GIS labs, and ecology lab.
