Life Sciences at Waterloo gives you the opportunity to study living organisms and their environments from a variety of disciplines.
During your first year, you'll take a variety of courses, including biology, chemistry, physics, math, and computer science along with courses from the humanities, social sciences, and languages.
You can choose a major area of interest when you apply or at the end of your first year. Majors include Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Physics, and Psychology. All majors are available through both the co-op and regular systems of study, except Biomedical Sciences, which is regular only.
