You're in! Congratulations

1 – What you need to do now

  • Accept your offer(s) of admission and residence (June 3 deadline)
  • Pay your residence deposit (June 3 deadline)
  • Visit the housing page to learn more about the residence process
  • Review the to do list for applicants and complete any remaining tasks

Important: If you have not yet submitted an Admission Information Form (AIF), you need to do so even though you've been admitted to Waterloo. Some scholarships are awarded based on the information in your AIF.

2 – What you need to know

  • Learn about your student fees and deadlines   
  • Find out when we'll make our scholarship & bursary decisions
  • Find out when your first co-op work term begins (if you're in co-op)
  • Get helpful tips & links to popular areas on campus
  • Find out how to obtain verification of enrollment for RESPs and other forms
  • Contact the AccessAbility Services (if you have a disability)

3 – What's next

  • When you’re deciding whether to accept your Offer of Admission, you’ll want to know everything you can about Waterloo. The best way is to come for a visit and experience the campus firsthand!
    • If you’ve received your offer before March, join us for March Break Open House.
    • And we’d especially like to invite you to You @ Waterloo Day in May, where you can ask last-minute questions and check out our residences.
    Check out the Student Success Office's tips and resources for first-year students to learn how you'll be supported during your transition to Waterloo.

4 - What you need to do between June and August

  • Arrange to send us your final transcript (if applicable)
  • Select your classes/check your schedule in July
  • Pay your tuition & residence fees by the August deadline
  • Complete the study permit process (if applicable)
  • Start thinking about making travel arrangements (if applicable) 
  • Make arrangements for a legal guardian/custodian (if applicable)
  • Register for Student Life 101
  • Learn about Orientation
  • Pick up your WatCard - your Waterloo student ID card
  • Visit the Student Success Office website for your summer checklist and advice from upper-year students to learn what else you can do to prepare to come to Waterloo.
