When we'll make our decisions
Waterloo's entrance scholarship and bursary decisions will be made in May.
- If you're admitted to Waterloo prior to May 1st, your entrance bursary and/or scholarship offer (if applicable) will be sent separately.
- If you're admitted to Waterloo after May 1st, your entrance bursary and/or scholarship offer (if applicable) will be included in your offer package.
AIFs and scholarship decisions
If you've received an Offer of Admission but have not yet submitted your Admission Information Form (AIF), you should still complete and submit an AIF.
Your AIF may be used in scholarship decisions, and in some cases it is required. If you do not submit an AIF, you may not be considered for some scholarships.
Contests and scholarship decisions
Some scholarships also require you to write contests or submit an application. Visit the entrance scholarships website for complete details.
University of Waterloo President's Scholarships
If you’ve been admitted to full-time first-year degree studies at Waterloo and you’re beginning post-secondary studies for the first time in fall 2012, if your early-May admission average is 85% or more, and if you meet the appropriate conditions, you’ll be awarded one of our President's Scholarships.
