The next steps for applicants

1 - What you need to do 

  • Complete your Admission Information Form(s)
  • Arrange to have your marks sent to us
  • Check your application status

Things you may need to do:

  • Apply for scholarships & financial aid (if applicable)
  • Arrange to have your English language test scores sent to us (if applicable)
  • Send us your documents for transfer credit assessment (if applicable)
  • Provide teacher reference information (Faculty of Mathematics applicants only)
  • Investigate our services for students with disabilities (if applicable)

Important: Most of Waterloo's admissions information will be sent by email so it's important that we have your current email address. Once we receive your application, we'll send you an email outlining the next steps in the admissions process.

2 - What you need to know

  • Check important dates for applicants to fall 2013
  • Get information about your faculty and program
  • If you applied to co-op, learn more about co-op
  • Find out about Waterloo's financial aid guarantee (if applicable)
  • Read up on Waterloo's residence and housing options and our residence guarantee
  • Find out when Waterloo will make its offers of admission
  • Visit the International Student Experience website (for international students)

3 - What's next

  • The best way to experience Waterloo is to come for a visit!
    • At our March Break Open House, check out the campus and find out more about the programs you’ve applied to.
    • If you can’t make it to the open house, join us for a student-led tour of our campus and residences on most weekdays and Saturdays throughout the year.
  • Participate in Waterloo math, computing and science contests, if you want to be considered for additional scholarships in those areas
  • Contact us if you have any questions – we're here to help!
  • If you're an international student, begin the study permit process (if applicable)
