About the Visitors Centre
If you're planning a visit to main campus, make the Visitors Centre in South Campus Hall (SCH) your first stop! (See a map and directions to campus.) To serve you better, we are currently renovating our Visitors Centre. Thanks for your patience during this time.
The Visitors Centre hours are
- Monday through Friday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Most Saturdays* – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
If you can't come to campus during office hours, call us in advance for campus information, including tips for taking a self-guided tour.

*Note: Tours run Monday to Friday and most Saturdays from mid-September to November, mid-January to March, and mid-May to mid-June, excluding holidays. Tours run Monday to Friday from mid-June to the end of July, excluding holidays. Check the schedule for details.

The University of Waterloo's Visitors Centre is part of the Marketing and Undergraduate Recruitment team. Each year we are looking for students who

Marketing and Undergraduate Recruitment is a team-centred environment. Our staff work independently and with one another to achieve the common goals of attracting high-quality students to the University of Waterloo. They also provide exceptional service and resources to both prospective and current students, University of Waterloo faculty and staff, and other visitors to the campus.
Student Ambassadors are hired for the fall, winter, and spring terms in March of each year. The salary for this position is $10.50 per hour, and work hours vary each week
