You and your family are invited to join us on this special visit day for students who have received an Offer of Admission to the University of Waterloo.
You'll have the opportunity to meet professors, staff, and students who can answer your last-minute questions about the University.
While you're here, take a walking tour of campus and speak with our Student Ambassadors about their personal "Waterloo experience."
Visit your residence of choice and get answers to all of your questions about living at Waterloo!

Schedule of events
Faculty tours - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Take a student-led tour of the faculty which will be your home base for the next 4 or 5 years. See classrooms, labs, and other student facilities. Tours leave from the Physical Activities Complex (PAC), the last tour will leave at 1:15 pm.
Campus tours - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Take a 45-minute tour with a current Waterloo student. Get the inside scoop on life at Waterloo.

Residence tours & information - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Go directly to any of Waterloo's 9 on-campus residences* for information and tours or drop by the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) to learn more about the residence that interests you.
University College tours - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Go directly to Conrad Grebel, Renison, St. Jerome's, or St. Paul's or stop by the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) for directions.
Waterloo Residences & Off-Campus Housing - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Visit the helpful people at the Waterloo Residences and Off-Campus Housing booth. For information about confirming your spot in residence, go directly to the Housing and Residences office in the lower level of the Student Life Centre (SLC).
*Tip: Check the information about the residences before you arrive and choose which residences you'd like to visit during the day. See our campus map for residence locations.
Academic information - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Representatives and current students from each faculty will be available to answer your questions about academic programs and co-op. Physical Activities Complex (PAC)
Note: Admitted Architecture students will receive a personal invitation to the School of Architecture’s You @ Waterloo Day activities.
Student Awards & Financial Aid - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Representatives from the Student Awards & Financial Aid Office will be available to answer your questions about scholarships, bursaries, and OSAP. Physical Activities Complex (PAC)
Note: If you have a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), you can have your form processed at the Office of the Registrar only after you have selected your fall courses in July. If you have already selected your courses when you come for Student Life 101, the Office of the Registrar will be available and happy to process your RESP form while you're here.

Free parking will be available in lots L, M, N, R, and X. Follow the signs once you reach campus.
Note: Most places on Waterloo's main campus are only a 5- to 15-minute walk apart. Here are some specific examples to help plan your day:
- Walk from Physical Activities Complex (PAC) to Village 1 (V1) - under 4 minutes
- Walk from Parking Lot X to the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) - about 10 minutes
- Walk from the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) to St. Jerome's University College (STJ) - just over 2 minutes
- General Campus Tour - 45 minutes
- Residence Tour - 30 minutes

- Check the weather and come prepared! Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring an umbrella if the forecast is calling for rain.
When you arrive on campus, come to the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) or look for student volunteers to show you the way.
